Begin Where You Are

An Invitation to Explore Working Together

If something in your reading has resonated, you are welcome to take the next step.

Beginning therapy does not require certainty or perfect words. Many women arrive simply knowing that something feels unsettled or disconnected and that they would like support in understanding it.

To make this process as clear and supportive as possible, appointments are booked directly through the online system. This allows you to choose a time that works for you and secure your session without delay.

Booking Your First Session

All appointments are scheduled through the secure online booking platform.

Sessions are prepaid at the time of booking to confirm your appointment and protect dedicated clinical time. This structure supports reliability and ensures that your session space is held for you.

Your first session is an opportunity to talk about what brings you here, explore your goals, and experience the pace and style of the work. There is no expectation to share more than feels safe.

You can review available times and practical details before confirming your booking.

What Happens After Booking

After scheduling your session:

  • You will receive confirmation and intake information by email

  • Practical details about session format and preparation will be provided

  • Any administrative questions can be clarified prior to your appointment

There is space to arrive exactly as you are.

Common Questions

Many women find it helpful to review practical information before booking.

You may be wondering:

  • What if I don’t know what to say in therapy?

  • How long does therapy usually take?

  • What are the fees and Medicare rebates?

  • Is online therapy as effective as in-person sessions?

  • What if I feel unsure or nervous?

If You Need Clarification Before Booking...

If you have a brief practical question that is not answered in the FAQs, you are welcome to reach out by email.

This channel is best suited for administrative or scheduling clarification rather than therapeutic discussion.

Clinical concerns are best explored within a scheduled session where there is time and space to support you fully.

A Gentle Invitation

Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable. It is also an act of self-trust.

If something here feels quietly aligned, you are welcome to secure a session and begin, not because you must, but because you can.

Continuity of care, a message from Arissa.

A gentle note that I currently have limited availability and am only offering client appointments on Fridays. New or former clients wishing to re-engage after some time away, are encouraged to consider their ongoing care needs before booking. In some cases, based on presenting needs, therapeutic fit, or availability, it may be determined that another practitioner or service would be better placed to provide ongoing or more timely support.

Duty of care, important notice

Please note that DIVE Healing® is not a crisis service and is unable to provide urgent or high-risk care (for example, support for active suicidal thoughts or situations requiring immediate intervention).

If you require immediate support, please contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 or Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636 (both available 24/7).

If you, or someone else is in immediate danger, please call 000 or present to your nearest emergency department.
